Who we are
This website is operated by Drumhierny Woodland Hideaway, [LEGAL GAP: registered company name, CRO number & registered address], at Drumhierny, Leitrim Village, Co. Leitrim, N41 T6P6, Ireland. For any privacy question, contact us at stay@drumhiernyhideaway.ie or +353 71 93 17777.
What we collect
- Enquiries: when you use a contact, wedding or event enquiry form, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email, phone number and message.
- Bookings: lodge bookings are taken in the Mews booking engine, and spa bookings via Trybe. Your payment and reservation details are handled by those providers — we do not store card details on this site.
- Technical data: our host (Cloudflare) processes standard server logs (e.g. IP address, browser type) to deliver and secure the site.
How we use it & our legal basis
We use your information to respond to enquiries, manage your booking and stay, and provide the services you ask for. Under the GDPR our lawful bases are: performance of a contract (managing your booking), legitimate interests (responding to enquiries and running the estate), and consent where you give it. We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers that help us operate, acting as our processors — including Mews (bookings), Trybe (spa), Cloudflare (hosting), and our email provider. Gift vouchers and event tickets are sold through separate stores with their own privacy policies. We may disclose data where required by law.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or analytics tracking cookies. When you open the booking engine, third-party providers (such as Mews) may set cookies that are necessary for booking to work. Your browser settings let you control or delete cookies at any time. [LEGAL GAP: list any analytics/marketing tools the owner adds, e.g. Google Analytics or a Meta pixel, and add a consent banner if so.]
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking records only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email stay@drumhiernyhideaway.ie. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the date above shows when it last changed.
