The lodges

Sixteen lodges, named for what lives here.

Foxes Den. Herons Nest. Old Oake. Every lodge takes its name from a neighbour — the wildlife, birds, flowers and trees of the estate — and every one has three bedrooms, its own deck, and a ring of fallen estate logs around the fire pit.

They were built thirty miles away in Co. Longford, clad in cedral, rated A++ for energy — warm in any weather Leitrim can think of. Inside you'll find timber salvaged from the forest floor and work by Leitrim artists on the walls.
